About Us
Kaylene Marie Oehling went missing on January 10, 2020 in Etna, Pennsylvania and was missing for over three years. Kaylene and her family were on the disadvantage of faulty police work: little case participation, late missing persons filings, no response from the police. As a community, her family united together to perform community searches, conduct protests for justice against the main suspect, and hold vigils to raise public awareness surrounding the disappearance of Kaylene Oehling. Kaylene was found in early 2023 by a group of hunters. Little progress by the authorities on Kaylene’s case sparked the formation of The Oehling Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding missing people while providing no-cost to families and law enforcement. We conduct parallel investigations with our organization’s investigations team and local, state, federal law enforcement agencies to ensure all bases are being covered in the search of missing people. Alongside our investigations, we provide case awareness in public areas and online, along with mental health support to address the mental health crisis. Our overall goal is to decrease the number of missing persons cases each year.
